MOON MNÁ - WOMEN’S CIRCLE at FULL MOON

MONTHLY VIRTUAL MOON CIRCLE AND WOMEN'S CIRCLE TRAINING IN DUBLIN & ON LINE

Moon Mná is an invitation for like-hearted women to celebrate life and love together or individually in tune with the Moon's cycles. There are several ways to do this. You can email me, Karen, at moonmna@slianchroi.ie to sign up for the Moon Mná Newsletter and each month I'll send you the month's Theme. Then you can choose to receive a simple Attunement to the Theme OR ask me to email you the Self Ceremony instructions based on the Theme OR finally you may choose to join a Moon Circle in your area run by one of the Moon Mná Mamaí I have trained by contacting them directly.

After three years of running my own Moon Mná Circle I received a heartfelt calling to expand our Women's Circles. So for the last year I've been offering a Dublin based training, called Moon Mná Mamaí, for women who wish to establish their own Circle. The Course trains women to host key themes with related chants, cleanses, rituals. Importantly I also teach how to pass on the Celtic Rites of Passage including the Maiden, Mother & Crone Rites. This year that calling expanded to reach wider and wider national and international circles with an On-Line version. If you are interested please email me at moonmna@slianchroi.ie

At certain times in the year I'll be facilitating at more public events and I'll invite you to come along via the Newsletter i.e. the Dublin Mind, Body, Spirit & Yoga Festival, the Spirit of Folk Festival.

HOW WAS IT BIRTHED?

The first Moon Mná evening was held in the Slí an Chroí Centre, Smithfield in August 2010. I was inspired to start these gatherings when doing Ceremony on the Hill of Tara under a glorious Full Moon.

To give you a flavour of what happens at a Womens Circle gathering, I have outlined below a general sense of what to expect if you do choose to contact one of the Moon Mná Mamaí currently offering these sacred events. All details are on the monthly Newsletter.

WHAT IS A WOMEN'S MOON CIRCLE?

A joining of joyous Soul Sisters to celebrate life, love & all good things. This organic time together has a theme which is drawn from the group itself. Each month many come together to celebrate a different aspect of being a woman. Within a safe and confidential group, there is sharing and exploration of the given topic while enjoying the female perspective on life, love & the Universe.

Following a welcome cup of tea, the first hour is about opening & holding a safe & confidential space including a Cleanse to release any stresses & strains of the day, week or month so all sit lightly for the time together. Following the introduction of the evening's theme a ‘Talking Space’ is opened to voice our truth & express ourselves freely. The second hour is experiential with the practise or Rite or demonstration of the theme. Finally the wrap up includes a Fire Ceremony to release anything that no longer serves us & welcome in whatever does. Afterwards there is chat about the evening with another cup of tea & healthy biscuits. On the way home, we revel in the deep energies of Seanmháthair Gealach, Old Grandmother Moon, the turner of tides, Star of us womenfolk. At Full Moon time the powerful energies we feel are about being with abundance, releasing & fruition of ideas. We meet 'virtually' according to the Celtic 'Days of Three' so as the Full Moon lasts for three nights. We invite you to join us - to be yourself in the glorious company of like hearted women of all ages.

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR THE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

Send an email to me, Karen at moonmna@slianchroi.ie to let me know you want to be part of the Moon Mna Newsletter tribe. I will then email you approximately 1 week beforehand the Full Moon. You will be invited to email me back if you wish an Attunement to the Theme OR the Self Ceremony instructions on how to do your own Ceremony OR you may contact your local group directly with email/facebook details provided.

You may also 'like' our Facebook page Moon Mná Women's Circle Slí an Chroí & follow each month pictorially, then let us know what you think.
